OAKDALE’S CLEOPATRA

Cleo actually has a nice level topline
which doesn’t show in this
picture. She was not happy in the
show ring.

OAKDALE’S CLEOPATRA

OAKDALE’S CLEOPATRA

D.O.B.: 5 June 1999(twins)

Sire: OTR Magic’s M Hercules
(Inavale Mr magic X OTR Circe the Enchantress 3*D)
Dam: Rosasharn’s Easter Bunny
(Rosasharn’s Baby Ivan X Rosasharn’s Tobiko)

HES Score: Overall 86.1 (Good+)
Udder Capacity 1+ (Excellent+)

Cleo was my project doe. She was extremely obese when we purchased her as a three year old and had never freshened. We put her on a strict diet and bred her the following year. She rewarded us with twins and a huge supply of milk. She has capacity! Her next freshening she had quintuplets and again has given us an amazing supply of milk. I was looking for a dairy goat when I purchased her, and that’s what I got! She has a nice level topline and a nice long dairy body.

2003 1st Freshening: Twins-1 doe/1 buck
2004 2nd freshening: Quintuplets-2 does/3 bucks
2005 3rd freshening: Twins-1 doe/1 buck
2006 4th freshening: Quadruplets-1 doe/3 bucks

MELON B BLUE

D.O.B.: 31 July 2003 (twins-1/doe,1/buck)
Sire: Honeysuckle Ridge DK Blue
(Ponders End DG Pillico X Prairie Woods Blue Socks)
Dam: Rosasharn’s Little Honey B
(ARMCH Goodwood Tom Thumb+*S X Rosasharn’s Buckwheat Honey)

Melon inherited her dam’s super sweet personality and capacious udder. She has done very well this past year in the show ring, usually placing within the top 4. She shows excellent width right down into her barrel. She milks out easily, has properly placed teats an an all around nice udder.

2005 1st Freshening: Twins 2/bucks
2006 Freshening: Singleton Buck

GOLDENBROOK FARM BUTTERCUP

D.O.B.: 5 May 2006 (twins-1/doe, 1/buck)

Dam: Goldenbrook Farm Sweet S’prise
(Honeysuckle Ridge DK Blue X Oakdale’s Cleopatra)
Sire: Goldenbrook Farm RumF’u’lery
(Rosasharn’s Tom F’U’lery X Goldenbrook Farm Melon B Blue)

As you can see, this is my son, Joey’s, first doe kid out of his baby, Sweet S’prise, and they like to hang out together. Her nickname has become Sweetheart, since she is just a little, well, sweetheart! She is pictured taking a well-deserved nap after placing first in her class and awaiting junior champion class. She is styled much like her mother, but definitely improved. She has a strong front-end assembly, nice depth of body, a straight top line on the move and nice straight legs.

Show wins
2 X 1st , 2 X 2nd, 2 X 3rd, 1 X 4th

2008: Twins-2/does
